Written in 2001, my book was put on the shelf to make the movie.

I gave my manuscript to a friend who just lost his Doberman Pinscher.
He absolutely loved it.
He said I should make it into a movie. I said no: it's a book.
A fun story to imagine all the places and sights where we had been.

I believe that helped my acceptance of the idea of a movie...

The story about Jesse’s life is intertwined with the story of how this book came to be. That story is romantic and true and takes place in a small town in Ireland. It’s full of fate and luck,
but this isn't a romance novel. This is real life.
Most of the popular dogs whom we know were introduced to us by men and I for one am grateful for all the wonderful dogs I have met through their stories.
Perhaps it’s time to learn that dogs can be
"Woman’s Best  Friend too". Have fun!
